I got a NAS after using Plex on a Mac. For various reasons I cycled through Emby, Jellyfinn, and now I’ve decided to settle down with Plex.
My problem is that running Plex on the NAS is a nightmare every I do an OS upgrade. No exaggeration, evry OS upgrade resulted in lost playlists and collections worth tens of hours.
After the upgrade, I usually can’t get Plex to enable. If I can, when I launch the app I get a seized splash screen.
I run a Silicon Macbook Pro with a dedicated NAS Server. No other software but PLex.
I have heard of rebuilding db might be a solution.
Any suggestions on Mac friendly tools to repair dbs
Any help would be appreciated.
