Hi there,

All of a sudden my sonarr can no longer move anything into "/mnt/unionfs/tv/" I just get permission denied, when i check the permissions are on 1000:1000 and set to 775 so there shouldn't be any issues, does anyone know what could have caused this issue? it was working fine yesterday.

Kind Regards,
noob

Did you ever find a solution to this? I'm having more or less the same issue but it only happens on some episodes in a series.

restart your sonarr container to see if that fixes things.

Thanks... have definitely done that.

Also, I just now had file that kicked up the error for a while and then suddenly... it imported. Manual importing didn't work before... it's very intermittent

I think i re-deployed sonarr and that sorted the issue just go into portainer - sonarr - edit - deploy, and this should fix your issue if not i would have just done a server restart, either way one or the other fixed it :)

Hey guys, I'm running into the exact same issue as @justanothernoob and @BornSlacker and also similar to what @Universe is running into over in https://pgblitz.com/threads/files-not-uploading-from-mnt-downloads-nzbget-movies.4898/

I'm on PGBlitz Version: 8.6.5 and just installed this server yesterday (previous servers I haven't had this issue before)

I've tried reinstalling sonarr and also redeploying PGClone -> Unencrpyted Move (option 4 - A), but no luck.

For me lidarr and radarr are uploading perfectly fine, just sonarr seems unable to create the files in the /mnt/unionfs/tv folder. However I don't think it is actually sonarr but something w/ the unionfs file system. If I drop into the sonarr container as the "abc" user which is just user id 1000, and try and create a file in the /mnt/unionfs/tv/<program>/<season>/ folder that sonarr is trying to copy things too, I get a permission denied.

Bash:
[email protected]:/$ touch /mnt/unionfs/tv/Big\ Little\ Lies/Season\ 2/test.txt
touch: cannot touch '/mnt/unionfs/tv/Big Little Lies/Season 2/test.txt': Permission denied
However interestingly enough, if i then exit the docker image and drop back into it w/o specifying the `--user` flag so that I'm root, and then create a file in one of the /mnt/unionfs/tv/program/season folders it will work (which I suppose makes sense since i'm root a that point). But what gets really interesting is that when I list the directory before doing that it doesn't show the current and parent directory attributes at all (even w/ the `-la` flag). However after creating the file in the folder as root, and monitoring the pgmove.log file in another terminal the file will disappear from the folder for a little bit, and then it'll reappear in the folder, and then when listing the folder the directory and parent directory attributes are there, and even crazier sonarr running in the background on its next attempt to copy the file, will be successful.

Does anybody understand the unionfs filesystem and what pgmove and docker are all doing enough to help myself, @justanothernoob @BornSlacker and @Universe out here?

ok, oddly that worked this time... I had tried that originally but apparently it just needed a 2nd round. Thanks!
