Hey guys so I got GCE up and running, but I am confused about how to configure it. They way I was explained to use it in discord was that I can basically run all my main programs and torrents on my main hetzner server, and have usenet files run on the GCE since it has a much faster connection and nvme drive. This way I dont have to worry about IO issues, and can grab stuff at a significantly faster rate with usenet, while backfilling to torrents when needed. The problem I'm realizing after setting up nzbget on gce, then connecting it to sonarr on Hetzner is that sonarr\radarr can't rename files on a remote server. Is there a step I am missing, or am I supposed to run sonarr/radarr on the remote server, and can't run it with both torrents and nzbs?

run sonarr and radarr on the GCE, thats what i do.
So sabnzbd/nzbget, sonarr, radarr on gce? And plex on your local server? Do you choose pgblitz edition on both servers?

GCE was not to meant to be a Plex server. Most people use it as a feeder. Before, we actually limited what you could do. Some people didn't like it so treat the GCE as a cloud server that last for 2.5 months to do whatever you want.

What is a good way to combine a remote hetzner server and gce?

Deploying pgblitz unencrypted edition on both? And then:
Hetzner - Plex
Gce - sonarr, radarr, sabnzbd

Something like that?

I use the same keys on both servers. I run nzbget, hydra, netdata and either *arrs on GCE. I backup/restore between hetzner and GCE for *arrs to see if theres any torrents that covered missing or failed nzbs. I keep plex on a different server, but did use it on GCE for a bit. If you have more than 2-3 users, using plex on GCE is not viable. If using it just for yourself the main issues is having to redeploy on a new account every so often.

I did some basic updating on the wiki, but still haven't updated it as well as I should have now that I know the ins and outs of GCE. I will get to it eventually, but keep getting distracted by new projects.

If not GCE, then where would you host Plex (and ombi) on the cloud?
