I’ve been digging in to how to use custom containers and wonder how to properly map a backend container that doesn’t require any port mapping.

For example, I’m using a readsb container (no port mapping needed) pulling data from my ZeroTier network, which feeds an instance of tar1090 - which does require exposing ports and has a public web interface that I put behind Traefik.

When I deploy the readsb container without any ports I get an error due to the _core script. I’ve made up a port pair as a workaround, but what’s the right way to write the readsb.yml file w no exposed ports?

I’m starting to consolidate a lot of my non-media server support containers to this box so would like to make sure I’m doing it the right way.
