Hi,
I've tried to add traefik with namecheap.

Getting:

"fatal: [127.0.0.1]: FAILED! => {"changed": true, "cmd": "cat /var/plexguide/CLOUDFLARE_API_KEY", "delta": "0:00:00.002489", "end": "2018-10-25 22:08:56.799319", "msg": "non-zero return code", "rc": 1, "start": "2018-10-25 22:08:56.796830", "stderr": "cat: /var/plexguide/CLOUDFLARE_API_KEY: No such file or directory", "stderr_lines": ["cat: /var/plexguide/CLOUDFLARE_API_KEY: No such file or directory"], "stdout": "", "stdout_lines": []}"

Traefik docker logs reads:

time="2018-10-25T21:27:40+02:00" level=error msg="Unable to obtain ACME certificate for domains \"*.domain.com\" : unable to generate a certificate for the domains [*.domain.com]: acme: Error -> One or more domains had a problem:\n[domain.com] acme: Error 403 - urn:ietf:params:acme:error:unauthorized - Incorrect TXT record \"q-cqyxO2ncb6NHuiHmn_n7GYSRC2o27FIJHFdfAaOGQ\" found at _acme-challenge.domain.com\n",

Each time I try to enable it, and also when installing applications. Is cloudfare API key needed? If, yes where to add it?

Probably going to sound stupid, but going to get it out of the way first.

have you set the domain provider to namecheap?

Ok so in portainer have a look at traefik and under ENV does it say the domain provider is namecheap?

Ok, im not familiar with namecheap, but assuming that everything looks right on portainer for traefik, and you check the .toml and acme.json files and they look ok then its most likely a plexguide bug with the new deploy system?

Is there any particular reason you would want to route through cloudflare? could try that

Hi,
I'll check the files! No, no need for cloudflare. Just that the error mentioned it, so I guessed I needed to create an account there ore something.

In the case of you not wanting to try cloudflare, id open a bug report on github.

If you do want to try cloudflare, and routing through it works then great you are set up. but that confirms the bug.

Personally I like cloudflare anyway and cant complain about something that's free!

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Deployed with cloudflare and worked fine, but it’s acting as though you never put in a cloudflare key.

Yea, but does it tell me to add a cloudflare key? I'm setting it up with namecheap though.

I'm getting this error with GoDaddy. Never had a problem before.

time="2020-01-22T23:59:05-05:00" level=error msg="Unable to obtain ACME certificate for domains \"*. .com\" : unable to generate a certificate for the domains [*. .com]: acme: Error -> One or more domains had a problem:\n[*. .com] acme: error: 403 :: urn:ietf:params:acme:error:unauthorized :: Incorrect TXT record \"X6GFKeZvkpaZ3ZNRcdpukbNBXndgi4FD0SCoPltUXQ\" found at _acme-challenge. .com, url: \n",
