Hi,

My free space is slowly decreasing over time. Storage: 57G used, 25G free, 85G total
Is 57G used a typical amount for most people?

I ran the following and it shows hardly any space being used
du -sh /mnt/move
du -sh /mnt/downloads
du -sh /mnt/pgbltz

Are there any other locations/temp storage I can clear down?
Thanks

It could be plex metadata and thumbnails if you use plex, it also could be due to very large log files for things like NZBget. Both of which can be found under /opt/appdata.

du -sh /opt/appdata/

du -sh /var/log/

du -sh /var/plexguide/logs
"/var/log/journal/01e2ffb05e1849f3861e234a3bffa9d6/" is showing 2.3 G. Is this safe to delete?

Here we go an short fix

But I will implemented in the next rollout for all user

Bash:
cd /etc/systemd/
Bash:
cp journald.conf journald.conf.old
Bash:
nano journald.conf

Bash:

I am now down to 18GB free space. Lost about 7GB in the last few weeks. I've rerun the commands to check space and nothing seems to be using it up.

Any other tools to run to free up space?

Thanks

Check first the space used folders

du -h --max-depth=2 /opt/
du -h --max-depth=2 /var/
2.0G /opt/

54G /var/

Docker seems to be the biggest
53G /var/lib/docker

53G /var/lib/docker/overlay2/
Can any of these be cleared down?
