Hello,

I have a Hetzner remote with 2 1TB drives, but only one drive is being used right now, the one pg is setup on. I don't have much experience on linux to mess around with it too much and really don't want to impact my PG setup. What is the safest way to integrate this drive so I'm using all the space I'm paying for?

Thank you!

You run raid1 ,,

Google > raid1 vs raid0

you could mount the unused drive to /mnt/drive2

if you google how to mount a drive, it should be as simple as ,
mkdir /mnt/drive2
then the other steps are using the mount command to actually mount it to that path and folder
and final step is to add the info to the fstab file to ensure after a reboot the same mount is performed.

Its not possible to mount the second drive .. when the drives are in raid1

The basic install of hetzner is always raid1

Software Raid = 1 ( for using)
Raid Array = 1 ( for raid 1 )
