I've burnt through all my credits on gce, is there a way I can get more free credits?

just sign up for another account. just share out your drives to the second account and your back in business.

Will the credits get transfered to the owner of the shared drive, or do we need to create the GCE server under the "second account" credentials?

use your original keys from your first login. you just need to run the GCE on the second account.

Ok, I get it. I see myself doing that here soon. If we make a new server on that box, do we need to install the apps on the new box before restoring the backups?

you can do it either way, but recommend to restore first, then run pgbox :D
