NZBGET - Configuration
Settings:=

  • News Server: Configure your news server here
  • Security > User
    • Change Username & Password
    • Save All Changes When Finished
  • Download Queue (Optional)
    • Recommend to set diskspace to 25000 MB (which 25GB) so you do not run out of room
    • If so, goto scheduler and set at least 4 schedulers for every 6 hours to un-pause the server (this results in downloading agian)

------------- NOT WORKING - NEEDS TO BE VALIDATED

M4V Converter (Optional)

This script is designed to convert your media to a universal mp4 format with support for automation when combined with NZBGet/SABnzbd and many options to customize. Avoid transcoding and support native playback across all devices with Plex.

What does it do exactly? It converts your media to a universal format. Why? Plex! Plex transcodes anything a client cannot play normally but transcoding is a CPU intensive task and if your CPU falls short, soon after the client will begin to buffer. By using this script you will eliminate transcoding or at least cut down on it.

git clone https://github.com/Digiex/M4V-Converter.git
cd M4V-Converter
sudo ./install_ffmpeg.sh (this can take a while)
mv M4V-Converter/M4V-Converter.sh /mnt/nzbget/scripts/M4V-Converter.sh

Go to settings, you will see a new M4V convertor option in the bottom of the menu.

The default settings are fine to convert, but you can change settings to your likings.

The default credentials for NZBGet are nzbget as username and tegbzn6789 as password. Make sure you change both of them after logging into the web portal.

Settings>Security>ControlUsername= insert new username
Settings>Security>ControlPassword= insert new password
Click save all at the bottom and login with new credentials

I also noticed there isn't an autostart file for this program unless I'm missing something. Does anybody know if that's automatically included when using the PlexGuide installer?

I'll check the install later. There shouldn't be any default creds.

So i installed a dummy version and works like it should, no username or password required

Is there a reason why NZbget and Medusa don't have their own .service files ?
service files? like as in startup service located under /etc/systemd/system? If that's what your asking, it's because docker takes care of it :D

Does the m4v converter work? I’d like to try it out, but first I need to make sure it actually works without too many bugs

Just did a fresh install (7.000, updated to 7.001) and the login for nzbget was indeed nzbget / tegbzn6789.
