I am setting up a new sever for v8 and wondering what the expected outcome of using PG Blitz With Encryption. The setup went smoothly, but when I backup applications it creates the .tar files in "My Drive". The only folder and files I see in my Team Drive is an encrypt folder, with six blank encrypted sub folders and a blank plexguide folder. Is this correct? I was assuming the backup files would be saved to my team drive folder. Where will the media files be saved to?

Also, if I stand up another server and connect to the encrypted files on team drive, would the new server be able to decrypt the files to know what they are?

the backup files are not encrypted, they goto gdrive :D sorry heading out; the location is meant to be put in place like a 2nd disk; not meant to encrypt and etc :D

That makes sense. After posting, I figured that to be the case. Before going down the encryption path, will a new server setup with plexguide be able to decrypt the encrypted files in team drive? Or is the encryption specific to the sever that created the files?

When adding files to Plex, do I link to mnt/unionfs/movies or mnt/tcrypt?

Is there a reason I shouldn't just use /mnt/tcrypt? When using /mnt/unionfs/movies deleting a file using plex or radarr does not delete the file.

Actually, I am not able to delete movies in either location.

it's not that, the backup location is where all the processing occurs, not where it's stored :D so imagine you have a 100gb disk, 90 gigs full. you have a second disk with 2tb full. you would then change it to /mnt/2ndhd/backup < whatever

Not sure I understand. I'm trying to delete encrypted movies that I have on my team drive. I tried to delete the file using Radarr and Plex, but the file still remains in location /mnt/unionfs/movies and /mnt/tcrypt.

When creating the gce vm instance, I noticed that I did not change the option from "Allow default access". Would that option make it so I cannot delete files?
