I don't know if my issue is related to Plex, Plexdrive, Gdrive or PG, but the same thing happens every 2-3 weeks, and it just happened again. I've been using the CX31 Cloud server from our german friends for the few past months. For some odd reason my entire TV, or Movies or both, libraries goes offline and then Plex has to scan the entire library from scratch. I haven't used Plex in about 2 days, but I just logged in and saw that hardly any of my media was listed and Plex was scanning unionfs. I really have no idea why this happens and it's starting to get on my nerves.

My Plex settings are listed below in order

Libraries (both movies/tv shows linked to unionfs)
Agents-Movies
Personal Media
Local Media Assets (checked)
Plex Movie
Plex Movie (checked)
Local Media Assets (checked)
Sub-zero listed (checked)
The Movie Database
Local Media Assets (checked)
The Movie Database (checked)
Sub-Zero (checked)

Agents-Shows
Personal Media
Local Media Assets (checked)
The TVDB
Local Media Assets (checked)
Sub-zero listed (checked)
TheTVDB (checked)

Library
Update my library automatically
Update my library periodically (every 12 hours)
Generate video preview thumbnails (never)
Generate chapter thumbnails (as a scheduled task)
Analyze audio tracks for loudness (never)

Network
Secure connections (preferred)
Enable local network discovery (not checked)

DLNA (nothing checked)
Time at which tasks start to run (2 am)
Time at which tasks stop running (5 am)
Backup database every three days (checked)
Optimize database every week (checked)
Remove old bundles every week (checked)
Remove old cache files every week (checked)
Refresh metadata periodically (checked)

I cannot be the only person experiencing this problem. Does anybody have any thoughts on what might be causing the issue and how to fix it? I've only used Plexdrive4 so far. Thanks.

Check if you have plex set to cleanup after every scan: https://support.plex.tv/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2013/09/mceclip11-2.png

You want to leave that unchecked. Reason being if something happens to rclone/plexdrive and you lose access to your media the next time plex scans it will nuke your library.

The only other possiblity is that your plex database is getting corrupted or deleted or something but thats unlikely because it should force you to reclaim the server and create the libraries.

Yeah, I missed that setting. It was checked. Do you know if that is different than the options on the homepage where you can click the ellipses next to Libraries and either select "clean bundles" or "empty trash"?
