I made the apparent mistake of creating a new GCE with just two cores, and now anytime a file is being streamed and transcoded the stream continually buffers. When played at original quality, it works just fine. That leads me to believe the issue is that I chose two cores instead of 4 (or more). Can this be changed after the GCE has been created?

That i'm unaware of. I know when you shut it down completely, it will stop working. Since you would have to change after the fact, a 99% no. GCE is not really meant to act as a plex server. Adding more cores will eat through your credits faster.

I guess that’s why it’s GCE “Feeder” I suppose. Haha. I may just need to do another PG install on a local machine for the drive mounting and plex server hosting.
