I have tried both install scripts (https://plexguide.com/threads/plexguide-install-instructions.243/) and have gotten an error after initial running of plexguide.

Code:
# Executing docker install script, commit: 4957679
+ sh -c apt-get update -qq >/dev/null
E: The repository 'https://download.docker.com/linux/ubuntu tara Release' does not have a Release file.

Starting Docker (Please Be Patient)
Failed to start docker.service: Unit docker.service not found.
INFO - FAILED: Docker Failed to Install! Exiting PlexGuide!
I manually installed Docker via apt, but this error persists. Any ideas on where the script calls the OS variable as that looks to be the issue?

SOLUTION: install docker.io not just docker, or use approved Ubuntu distro.

haha that's why it failed :D you saw the req portion right :D basically it's saying there is no docker install for it that works accordingly. need debian or ubuntu

do you have your server locally or rented?

if locally I can give the image what I have used.

You guys got me pointed in the right direction. I had install 'docker' rather than 'docker.io'. Installed the correct version and it is working properly now on Mint.

Thank you!

I just have a question?
why are you using Linux mint?
instead of Ubuntu or Debian?
Mint is only on embellished Debian.
for users who want to test Linux but want to use productive rather unsuitable.

I like Mint because it has many of the tools and environment things I prefer over base Ubuntu.
Mint has one line on Ubuntu (the normal) and one on Debian (that I do not prefer/use).
