Hey Everyone ,
I have a vps with OVH,
Goal is to directplay to 3 family members from this and for use myself when my server is under maintenance.
I have attached the bench mark.
Even with 1 user playing with everything set to original he is getting constant buffering.

Yeah you will most likely have peering issues, you can do a quick test by installing the speedtest app in PG Box and running the speedtest on a your PC to see how fast and how much data is getting to you from the server.

You could try setting up a cloudflare CDN to improve the peering if you have not already.

No problem. There are some Australian users on here from time to time so they might be able to help you and share their experiences with you.

It's not any better here in the UK for the average consumer, the upload speeds here are not good at all for hosting. Luckily the peering here is not an issue as we have more options on the same continent.

Setup emby/jellyfin use strm and stream straight from gdrive instead.
Has anyone written a fullproof guide for this yet? I remember a thread a while ago that ended up huge but was just full of comments asking for a guide. Not sure one was ever supplied, I'd love to give it a go.

There is nothing to it. I know cloud box have a docker for drive_strm .somebody wants to pinch that , we could have it here.

Other than that just install ddurdle gdrive strm and run it. Once it's finished point your emby/jellyfin library to it.

Can we install this docker container and it will work with our setups? I'm willing to test it.
