Hello guys,

I have been looking into connect my VPS to a VPN and am wondering if anyone of you is already doing this?
Is there an issue having a VPN in between the VPS and Google (VPS <-> VPN <-> Google)?

For downloading purpose a VPN is always a good thing and I want to close that hole now.

Thank you!

€dit: btw.. Haven't seen the Admin here for a while, anything to worry about?

VPN containers are already available, many use Privoxy to allow other containers etc. to use them as a proxy. I’ve also known people install a hypervisor and things like pfsense to handle tunnels on both ends, add virtual switching and then pass the encrypted connection to the rest of the VLAN, realistically it’s not a major concern in most places unless you are torrenting from the VPS and with the stupidly cheap price of news services and ability to saturate a gigabit connection, that seems an odd choice.
