Hello!

I've been running PG on my Ubuntu laptop for about a year now and the only throttling I'm experiencing is with my home upload speed (10 mbps). I was curious if anyone had any recommendations for a VPS that I can use solely for Sonarr, Radarr, Usenet, and all of my uploads.

I personally use Infuse as opposed to Plex for a majority of the media in my Google Drive and currently my laptop is perpetually full with downloading new content and taking a VERY long time to get it to Google Drive. For full clarification I am not looking for anything to handle transcoding, maybe just 80GB with gigabit upload speeds.

If anyone could help me out here I would be very grateful!

**I have the option to upgrade to 35mbps upload, however it would more than double my current internet bill which I would like to avoid if possible.

Hetzner is only a few euro a month, 10Gb shared with fast CPU's and fast NVMe storage, it's recommended regularly in this very section for a reason - it excels at exactly this kind of workload. Personally I have a UK based VPS with 400/400, 4C, 8GB, 160GB SSD and it's cost me £1.20/m for the last 7? months... you ca't really complain for that kind of money, though months 12-18 will cost £24/m, but on balance that works out at £8.80/m all in.

Would you mind sharing your provider and maybe some benchmarks (e.g. Geekbench) of your server?

I took out the previous deal (2c, 4GB, 120GB SSD), 6 months in and they started offering the higher spec option on the same deal, I was allowed to skip the remainder of my existing contract and take out a new contract on the new server, so i'll get 12 months at £1.20/m inc VAT followed by 6 months at £24/m.

The EU peering is decent and very consistent, if you want to order, don't do so from a VPN unless you want to be flagged for additional security checks.
